This rebuild kit contains o-ring, face plate, impeller, key and water guide tube for easy installation with common tools.
Mercury used 2 different diameter drive shafts on outboard motors 4/ 4.5 /7.5 hp within the same serial number range, this listing is for the LARGER, or impeller inside diameter .456″ .
If you have the smaller, or impeller inside diameter .438″, this is NOT the correct kit for your application. We have been asked many times if there is a way to determine which size shaft for a particular motor. Unfortunately, the ONLY way to measure it.
